    I need some Wheels.

The coat is coming off of my factory wheels and I am looking for some C-5 z06 wheels for my car. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I dont want to have to pay out the ass for them

Which car? You can refinish your factory wheels if the clear is peeling off them. I've seen threads on it here, they look quite nice when done actually.

If it's the 'Bird, why not look into a different set of wheels? IMO C5 Z06's are ugly and look terrible on 'Birds. Stock wheels are so much nicer.

Yeah it's the bird. I dont know which wheels to go for though. I kind of like the Z06 wheels, but not the C-6 vette wheels. I might go for some TT-2s

Well, if you like them, you like them. I'm just not a fan of the C5's.

The TT2's are always a great choice though.

I also really like the RUF wheels, I think they're the 278's? Or the HP Lightnings (Evo) look really good on black cars.

Agreed. Z06 wheels are okay but, just don't get it like TTIIs or TTMs.

Finding some in your area will be more expensive than online. Check out your local area and then compare to TomZ or WS6 store. You might be surprised at the price diff.

Online is the way to go. You'll save quite a bit as most guys on here go online to get theirs and skip the local dealers. Good luck at any rate and let me know if you need more info.

I appreciate the help. I have been looking online this morning and found a set for 1100 with tires, that sounds pretty fair

Yeah, depends on what type tires. I just ordered the rims from WS6 store and got the Falkens I wanted elsewhere at like Discount tire or something. Was really pleased with the rims and tires.

All came together nice. So, you thinking about going TTIIs then?

Yeah, or the Ruff Racing 268s. I really like the way those look

Well, I ordered a set of wheels. I sprung for the C-5 Zo6 powder coated ones. Got a brand new set for 450$. Also getting the windows tinted. I will post pics as soon as I get them on the car. I was going to get the TT-2s, but there are three black birds in town with those wheels, and I wanted to be different.

C5 Z-06's FTW!!! I love my Chrome 18x9.5 and 10.5s ... I've been spoiled by wide wheels and I think that if I need to roll the fender lips "and" to the BFH mod, the wheels are Just wide enough ... lol. I think the Ruff's are not wide enough for the rear 'cos they don't make anything wider that a 18X9.

Exactly. I'm putting 370 to the wheels so I need something that wide. Everything I found aftermarket Except tt-2s were too narrow

Ditto. I must have rear wheels at least 10.5" wide. Not much selection out there.

I see you are in Gainesville as well. Do you ever go to the track?
