    I lowered mine 1 1/2 and have 19's so you should be fine.

    jsut make sure to maintain the same stock OD (overall diameter)
    For example:
    275/40-17
    315/35-17
    315/30-18
    275/35-18
    all have the same stock overall diameter... same height.
    basically whatever more you have in rim, you are removing in rubber.

    I am 1" lowered and run 18s with no issues at all.
    CCW SP 500s 18x10 275/35 18x11 295/35
    SLP CME with GMMG style catback
    Painted manta stripe

    BMR springs, it might be around a 1.25" drop, never really measured it.
