help with tires

i have nitto invo tires on my camaro now and i burn them off all day long. i went to the local dealer and they where saying i should pick up some SUMITOMO HTR Z 3. can anyone tell me about these tires. for some 245 in the back and 245 in front they want. 975.04. what are some options. help.

Keep out of the throttle.... You can always go with M/T Drag radials but the road tends to eat them up pretty quick. Alot of people run Nitto's with mixed reviews. Personaly i hate them. Any type of street tire or radial arent going to give you what your looking for.
Just curious but how much power are you making at the wheels?

how on earth are 245s $975 thats not even the stock width on an SS i just bought KDW 2's for $908 after mounting and balancing and those were for 255/40/18 and 295/35/18...my advice is to not use the dealer. they jack the shit out of their prices and I would know my dad works for one.

my car is making 437 to the wheels. and my bad its 245 in front and 275 in the back. now can i fit 295 on my car. its a 2001 ss. and if you are running them can i see a pic?

well it all depends on what wheels you are running. if they are stock then no. the only reason i said my sizes was to show you how my tires are bigger and are typically not your everyday sizes (which affects the cost) and mine was still $70 cheaper.

i love the look of a big tire in the back. i am running vet rims. the 5 spokes. i am just looking for some good tires to get. might just go withthe 555s

what are the sizes of the rim. if you are looking for suggestions i would go with the KDW 2s. according to the guys i talked to at the tire rack they are the best hooking up tires that aren't drag radials

im talking about the rims. i'm assuming they are either 18s all around or 17s F and 18s R but what are their widths?

youre technically not supposed to run 275s on an 8.5 in wheel. i tried to and the tire rack said they wouldn't do it there, i'd have to have someone do it on the side. so you definitely can't go bigger then 275 or you need to get new wheels.
