    has anyone heard of this brand?

    Has anyone heard of Vredestein or Hankook? I'm looking on ebay and i havent heard of them. I would feel more comfortable seeing michelin or pirelli....

    Discount Tire sells Hankook tires. I believe they are Korean made like the Kumho's.

    Like Warbird said, Hankooks are either Korean or Chinese. Vredestein are European tires, either German or Dutch: they're not bad tires but just my $0.02 I don't feel that they're as good as Michelin or Pirellis. My tire dealer / alignment guy sells them (not the Hankooks, the other 3).

    I put Hankooks on my SRT4, had good grip, but wore out considerably quicker than the stock BFG KDW's.
    Still good tires for the money.

    they are good tires, depending on which models you chose... like with any other manufacturer, btw. Hankook has some good models. I wouldn't discard them because you never heard of them.
