i also sold my old beat ass ZR1's that had curb rash, were bent (offset an inch on the tire balancer,, EEK!) one had a huge HUGE gash out of the rim where the bead of the tire sits, it never leaked tho

I got 200 Bucks for my old rims so it only cost me 625$ for my new rims

actually 685 $ because they charged me 60 bucks to get my tires swapped over

are you black its just a question dont get offended...RIMS???? thats the outer layer where the bead of the tire sits....so if you were driving a porsche that had the 3 piece BBS wheels...i might believe you got new rims...cause the rim of the wheel actually unbolts from the center section....but if you bought the whole wheel its just that a "WHEEL" and that black thing that has rubber on it that goes around the wheel is a tire...you wouldnt call it anything else...its a tire thats it...so why do people insist on calling it a rim...you curbed the rim...that is acurate...cause that is the part that the bead of the tire sits on...where did this whole RIM thing come from...probly same place that now when any one sees a 67 shelby they say look its an ELEANOR.....NO NO NO!!! its a shelby....not a stupid ass movie car...albeit the car is sexy as hell it was never "produced" (by Ford with a Vin)...shelby has started producing the SHELBY GT500E's cause of that cars popularity...but that would be like calling a fiero kit countach an actual lambo....or a non SS camaro that had all the ground effects and paint of an SS a real SS....grrrr idiots they make me mad Sorry to all that this offends

    to blue02Z

I'm running 275/40R/17's dunlop SP 5000's asymetricals, they are about 175$ a piece, they have excellet grip, i did 120mph in the pouring rain with no hydroplane.

    thanks for the complement.

Irader99, cut me some slack, you'll see that everyone on this board calls "Wheels" "Rims", don't get all bent over all the little stuff. Your post had no place in this thread.

    Blue02Z:
Rims are stock specs, SS's and WS6's came with 275's all around, no rubbing, infact they prob wouldnt rub on a Z28 either

    Irader99:
No worries man, its all good in the neighborhood, we all get pissed from time to time
