Front skinnies
I was going through different forums and I saw that someone mentioned they used the 04-06 GTO spares as skinnies to drag race. I would think that the spare wouldn't be able to handle 100+ mph...
What are you guy's inputs on that?

Would the wheel with a skinny drag tire work? I would think that the tire is the only thing unsafe about this idea.

The wheel would be heavier than a true skinny wheel. I would also not want to find out if it was just the tire rated for only 50 miles. Plus I bet it would be hard to find a race legal tire to fit.

The tire is a 145/70R17. Not too worried about the weight of the wheel. It's more for less resistance.

Whoever uses spare tires (Rated for 50mph for 50 miles) is a fucking idiot. Do it the right way and buy tires meant for that type of thing.
