    finally got my tires! :D

finally got some KDW's on my OEM C6 rims. dropped $1040 for them with mounting and balancing. Going to try to fit them in tomorrow as best I can so I can get the smallest spacer possible for the backs. The new tread design on the KDW's is pretty intense looking, and the tread is so deep! can't wait to have the wheels on my car.

Nevermind. $1040 just for the tires? What kind? I'm curious.

    Never heard of KDW.

$173 each for the fronts, $273 each for the backs, $76 in taxes, and then $60 for mounting and balancing. They're BFGoodrich KDW's with the "new tread".

I bought some Falken FK452s and I love those too. I think the Falkens are really awesome. Congrats on the new wheels. I'm gonna get me a second set of TTMs and another set of Falkens I think next spring. I just love wheels........lol.

When I looked at the KDW tread again, it almost resembles Firebird outter feathers. Weird.

they didn't make it for my size rim, so I just went with the new tread. the tread is starting to grow on me. it's very unique.

Sorry to hijack, but how are you finding the wear on the falkens? I just took them off my car and thought they were dissapearing awefully quickly, especially on the back (in the centers only wich was weird because they had 28lbs in them) and they were "cupping" on the fronts. Just curious because I'd like to know if it was my alignment before I wreck the new rubber.

I think the KDWs look bad-ass btw, but the price....... whoa! I paid $20.00 more than that for rims and summitomos together, I hope they wear really well for you man!

Falken FK452's are wearing just fine. Burned em mulitple times this summer and drive them every day. I can still fit a whole finger nail in there. Check the alignment.

No silly. The one of the black cock also has a pic of your dad sucking off a longhorn in the corner. You do know that only two things come from texas right?
