Falken Ziex ZE 912 vs 502

I'm debating between buying
1) Falken Ziex ZE-912
or
2) Falken Ziex ZE-502

Will be purchasing 245/50 r16 (The original 235/55 r16s are a pain to find cheap)

Which tire will perform better and last longer (better bang for the buck)?

I drive a 2002 V6 Firebird with 16' rims and live in Los Angeles, CA. Dry roads almost all year around and will be driving on the freeway 2 days a week for about 1 hr each day.
(Driving on the weekends but not much).

Either will perform well as long as you rotate/balance every 5-7 thousand miles and you have your car aligned. If you don't plan to race the car, then either tire would be good for you.

I have Falkens on our car and have found that you have to run lower air pressures or the center is prone to wear.
