Are you looking for a Drag Radial made for the street that could be used at the track, OR a set made for the track that could be used on the street? Also knowing your mods would help in choosing the right tire.

Sorry I'm not much more help. I've only had the Nitto's or the M/T's in a DR...
You're car will probably run similar to mine (see sig).

Ive got 555Rs on mine. I love em! best choice out there, imo, if youre like me who drives it over 90% of the time on the street.

I had Nitto 245-50-R16's before the stall. They worked well then with a best 1.9x 60'.
After the installation of a 3400 stall (see sig) the Nitto's spun like stock tires regardless of how I launched. That's when I stepped up and went with the Mickey's (255-50-R16 with stock salad shooter rims). Now it's "dead hook city" off of the line with a best 1.73 60'. I've burned thru 2 sets of gears (pinion bearings mostly) with these tires...Last edited by 67CamaroRSSS; 08-25-2010 at 09:12 PM.

I use toyo proxy tq's. For a close to stock car they're great, hook every time. I would imagine that you'd need something a bit beefier though because of your stall and gears.

still no sig showing up. but i want a more race tire. not 555r's. They're going on 15" welds. fatties in the back skinnies up front. they just need to have a DOT number so i can race street class

BFG's sound right for you.
Won't get too many miles out of them though.

Not to worried about miles. I've only put 250 miles on it in the past month.
