Different tire sizes
Whats the big deal about running a 17" 26" dia wheel/tire combo in the front and a 18" 27" dia wheel/tire combo in the rear?
I understand the speedo recalibrate, but is there really a problem with it, handleing, ride, performance...?

not really a handling issue. the corvette's are that way. 17" 25.7" tall front and 18" 26.6" tall rear. the ABS light may come on due to the front wheels turning faster than the rears as the f-bodies are programmed with front/rears tires at same height of 25.7" tall.
