    Cracked Zo6 wheel

Wow now here is a weird thing. I have real GM Zo6 wheels all around but my front ones both have small hairline cracks in them. The cracks aren't even like where you'd think they would crack so I dont think they are structural or anything and it's not like I do any like insane turns or anything and they don't have curb rash real bad. One of them is empty by the end of the day and the other lasts about 2 weeks. I don't know, I just don't get it. I was planning on brazing them or maybe putting some JB weld ont the inside, any suggestions?

I'm going to go out on a big limb and say "Toss Them"! You add those conditions together and I would not get in the car.

You got every right to risk your own life...but there is a good chance you will hit somebody else when one of those wheel's detonates.

Well i'm completely with ya man but I really dont think they'll blow or anything (had em up to 140 with no problems ) but I'll take em to a rim repair guy and get his opinion

Have you seen how much a head stone costs lately? Or one of those low end caskets? They'll do 0 to 6 ft in eternity!

I have actually had two wheels crack on me before. Both were the same type of Eagle wheels that I have on the Camaro now. All I had to do was go to a Discount Tire and they replaced them for free. If you can check with whoever you bought them from (or worse case just try GM) and see if they have a lifetime warranty. You might be surprised what they will cover. I did not even buy the wheels on my Camaro (from one car ago bought by the previous owner).

The wheels on there now came on the car and I have a feeling they were just pull-offs off a Zo6. Just for laughs, I'll call GM but you know that's gonna be a joke
