couple questions about my brakes n tires.
Okay so I ordered the "r1 concepts" drilled n slotted rotors off ebay and was wondering which pads would match up well with them. Was leaning toward the ceramic ones by hawk. I also jacked my car up n took the wheels off the other day to get it ready to install the new rotors n pads and i noticed my passenger side front tire was wearing real bad on the outside edge. Then after taking off the driver side wheel i noticed that the inside edge was wore just as bad. My guess is it needs alligned but i got that done when i had these tires mounted so im not sure. andddd this may be a dumb question but does it matter which rotor goes on which side when they're drilled n slotted??

Those hawk pads will work fine for you. I prefer the HPS over the ceramic but both will stop better then a cheapo pad. If both edges of the tires are worn usually that means they are under inflated and/or an alignment problem... also the rotors should be marked Left and Right.
How much did you pay for these ebay rotors? any reason for not going with a name brand?Last edited by km346; 04-08-2009 at 10:57 AM.

I believe they were around 140 for the set. I did a search on here and a lot of people seemed pleased with them. I also checked over the rotors when I got them and didn't see where the were marked with anything like a "left" or "right" but ill check em over again. Thats bullshit about my tires though. I know why my rear tires are bald but the front.. oh well i guess.
