Cleaning polished aluminum
First nice day, figure I'd get some spring cleaning done.
Bought these on the car, took em off and stored them for winter, first time cleaning em, or any polished aluminum wheels for that. and well most of the inner lips look like this
did the first scrub with dish soap but this shit wasn't budging. The only cleaner I had that wouldn't spot didn't make a dent in it either.
I got some
which should pretty up the fronts with a powerball, but with all the hard work and the insides looking like that seems like a wasted effort.
Possible solutions?

A good Deagreaser should clean it up, might have to use a sos Scrub pad. They also make an industrial stripper that would take it off but i would first try it on a little spot to see how bad it will dull the rim.
"Flitz" also works pretty good...

steel wool and water is what I did. then follow up with your alum polish. Just make sure it's aluminum or you'll scratch the clearcoat up.
