Polished looks better when polished up and maintained properly, but chrome is not as near the high maintenance as polished. If your car is a daily driver, you definitely want chrome. I would ONLY get polished if its a luxury/pleasure car.

    Polished...hands down.

Chrome wears off...polish needs more work.

I have seen them start flaking in the barrels at about 3 years.
    Not noticeable, but still....

On black though...I still like a fully polished wheel.

Polished looks great when done up. Chrome looks good also, but I have to say I would go with Polished. But I have no money to buy rims so dont listen to me.

Yeah, she's a garage queen...Only really drive it in the summer if that..I got her new in 2001 and have 17,000 miles on it...Most of those miles were put on when I first got the car...But I take care of her better than myself!

You sound very similar to me and being that its rarely driven and avoids the weather elements, go with polish. Do want you can to protect the finish as well. I used zoopseal on mine, which prevents oxidation. Keeping them waxed will help to preserve them as well.

My polished alloys are great. I just got a powerball polisher for the drill and use mothers and its' real easy.

Standard chrome do flake and peel. Especially on the inner rim area. Alloy will never peel.

I got these about 6 months ago and they still look stunnin. I would have loved to have bought the polished but the tire guy said it was the same, so double check. If you are going to be MPG minded, these are a bit heavier than stock and would defenitely go with a beefier tire. My car is rollin on ARs torq thrust Cs or Ms (not sure which) 17x9s with bfgoodrich supersports and has a wickedly wide tread. Also center cap says something about special or limited edition.

I didn't think TTII's were available in chrome with the exception (sort of) below. American Racing has several other Torque Thrust models that do but the only ones I could find that were TTII's that offered any chrome were custom offset wheels off the American Racing website that had chrome centers and polished rims. If TTII's are available in chrome, I'd be interested.
