    C4 wheels??

Ive got a chance to pick up a pair of c4 corvette wheels for cheap, will they fit my 2000SS. Im thinking of using them for a set of drag radials. With the stock rear should I not even bother, use a moderately sticky tire(555r from what I hear), or take it easy on a set of MTs untill I need an excuse for a 12 bolt??

What year of C4 did it come off of? The 84-87's had a different backspacing on them due to the rearend being 3/4" narrower rearend.

Not sure yet. Would those stick out/ rub on Camaros? So 88 and later are ok? Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure that you will be ok with the 88 and later rims. On the drag radials, if your going to have a different rim for them, I wouldnt waste my money on Nittos I would just go ahead and get the M/T's. I highly doubt you are going to break you rearend. You didnt mention what size the rims are so I will assume they are 16's, for them I would get either a 255/50/16 dr or a 26x11.5x16.

Cool, thanks for your help. I found this online http://www.joby.se/corvette/div/corvette_wheels/ according to this the only year with a 16 with the later backspacing was 88. So with the chance kinda low that they are from the one year possible, would a spacer work? Ive heard no to use spacers.

I wouldn't really recommend it, especially with dr's. Why not just go ahead and either get you a pair of factory 17's from a f-body, or if your dead set on running 16's you could always get a set of factory 16" wheels and still run the tire sizes I recommended.
