go to ebay, look up username moore9911, hes got an ebay store named O E wheels, all they sell is performance reproductions. Ive got a set of C6 wheels in the mail, so far everyone who has bought from them loved em. you can get a set of blacked out 17X9.5 C6 Z06 wheels for $449, plus $89 shipping

IMO it would look stellar if you dropped it just a little.
And perhaps do something with the SS on the wheels.

Yeah, those were my roommate's rims actually ('98 Camaro SS)

I just bought 17x11 Black ZR1s for a "Self Christmas Present", when they get here I'll put up pics in the appropriate places.

I plan on dropping it, I just like to do everything at once. This spring is going to be interesting...I'm looking at $2500 into the Suspension and $10k into the engine.

Yeah I needed good tires to pass MD inspection and I didn't have the cash to buy tires at the time, so he lent me his for a week.

I'm torn on suspension, I know what I want, but not exactly where to get, I'll talk to Sam when the time comes, but I might just go with Eibach and Koni SA's. Eh, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I'm not buying them, I recently got the deal of a lifetime...a buddy of mine started working at Carmax as a Chief Inspector for cars coming in. Apparently tires with the smallest amount of wear are replaced, so being the "big wig" he is, he's giving me all the tires that come off C5s and C6s that come through. He called me the other day and told me he had six 275/40/17 tires and two 315/35/17 tires waiting to be scraped, so I hauled ass down there with my truck and picked them up. God, the 315s are almost brand new. I can't wait to put them on when the rims get here.

I have the Koni sports all the way around. I love them.
I also put on Strano-spec Addco sway bars.

I rebushed the rear control arms. Bought new poly rear control arms and panhard rod. I didn't install those. I'll be selling those.

I redid the brakes completely, installed UMI 3pt SFCs.

hey guys, the first picture on this thread of that trans am with the black z06 rims, what size are they?and also what size are the tires?cause the replica z06 rims I bought are 17's and I'm afraid since they are black that they might look small on my black formula. So I want to make sure I don't buy tires with too low of a profile. The one in the picture looked so good. thanks for your help!

That's a good question about the rim/tire size on the first picture.
ls1camino might know the answer to that.

Getting 17s are not all that bad if you get a something with an aspect ratio
of 45 instead of 40. And if you're lowered it will look just fine.
It might be a little tougher to find 45s instead of 40s.

I'm looking into a set of 17" WS6 wheels or Black C6 Z06s like in the first
picture. I like that aggresive look and how the brakes show up really
good through the Z06 wheels.

Depends on how wide the rims are. If they're 9-9.5" then 275/40-17 tires are the way to go. If they're 10-11" then 315/35-17 are good.

285 tires aren't that common, and honestly the 10 extra millimeters doesn't justify the extra money for the tires. Just my opinion.

I was going to order some black C6 ZO6 wheels but decided on these instead.

I bought these from a member on an F-body forum.












I'm also going to order a set of the Falken Azenis RT-615 275x40x17.
