big nail in drag radial? tire still good?

So i was just looking over my car today...dunno how i just happened to notice this, but i got a very nice size piece of metal, basically a nail jabbed through the center of my nitto drag radial. It doesn't matter, it can be fixed right?

I moved it a tich and it lost some air, so i know it's holding the air in now....this sucks. i just hope it can be fixed just like any other tire. I don't want em ruining my nice rims if i take it somewhere either...damn't

In a radial it wouldnt even be an issue but personaly i wouldnt want a patch on a track tire. Do you see much track time?
Its your call though, it can be patched just make sure you find a decent shop so they dont tear up your rim.

IDK but i was a little sad when i found it. These things are brand new, i was wondering how the hell something like that winds up on the road....

However they are destroying a nearby building on base, i wonder if i could blame them for it.

I bought my Nitto DR's....150 miles later, one went flat. Picked something up.
They patched it for me no problem.

I WILL NOT race on a patched tire. But I will drive around on it.

I've had my RR Nitto DR patched twice since last year - they're a magnet because of the soft combound I guess, can always hear debris hitting the inside of the rear wheel wells.
