best Tires

i have bought a couple of NITTO tires ( EXTREME DRAG 555R )
i wonder if these are OK to race in the street ???

On a more serious note heard their awesome but I've never run a set. Though lots of people on here have so dunno why no input from them.

A dry street in good condition on a hot day yea. being drag radials they are not designed to perform in turns. they will also wear out pretty fast.

I have BF Goodrich geforce's I think the T/A KDW's and they are AWESOME! in turning they are sticky as hell. I have an entrance ramp that in my Mark VIII with Yoko Avid V4S would run about 55 squealing like a pig.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole positions on my SC2 and can run that ramp at 55 with very little noise.... granted its a MUCH lighter car with MUCH better suspension

The Hawk? Same ramp at 60 = no noise whatsoever. STUCK to the road. I could prob run that ramp at 75+ but don't really have a deathwish.

Tire rack has em for 164 each in 275/40/17 so they aren't exactly cheap. but as with most anything you get what you pay for
