Arctic White Hardtop- '98 Formula M6
Best Rims on a Formula?
What do guys think are the best looking rims on a Formula?
My Formula is Arctic White and is a hardtop.
I'm thinking of either getting 18x9.5's all around, or 17x9.5 / 17x11's.
(pic's of other formula's w/rims would be a huge help)

If the bolt pattern for my car is 5x120.65 does that mean that I will not be able to fit wheels with a bolt pattern of 5x120? I see a lot of wheels with this pattern. Does anyone know?

Mine are 5x120 and they do work each lug is only .325mm off
You will need Hub centering rings.Craig

Michaellinchains: I was wanting to do the same with mine but Im not sure about the 19s on the back and I didn't really want to put 8.5 all the way around. Does the car handle well and did you have any trouble getting the 19s to fit?
I also was curious how well the 275 fit on the 8.5?
Thanks

well first off my formula is just my fun car,no daily driver, not a track car...i personally love the look & stance of it now & it handles like its on rails.the 19`s & meaty rear tires required NO mods at all.and w/ the eibach prokit on there i can maybe squeeze 2 fingers between the tires & fender-wells.both the front 275s & rear 295s are slightly oversized(from what some say??) for my wheels, but provide a tiny lip or overhang that help protect my wheels from curb rash.my ride is proof that 19`s, if done right look amazing on f-bodies.dont be scurred of the 19`s BIGSWORD

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I can put them on sometime next month.
I haven't decide for sure yet though whether or not to go with 18 all the way around or 18/19.
If you can, post some pics when you get a chance.
Thanks

no,i think you`d be safe goin a half inch wider on the rear but ask an expert before you spend all that money.i gots lots of killer pics ill be posting this weekend.ive gotten nothin but compliments on these wheels, chrome is just too bling-bling ghetto fabulous for me..personally i like the stealthier,bad-ass black on black look.also, remember to lower that car if you choose the 19`s,it will ride as well as it looks

I think it is an absolute beauty!!! Is the first time I see them on the firebird, and I know what you mean about the chrome wheels. Mine is plain stock right now and I wasn't planning on changing the look but... it's hard to keep it that way after seeing a few like yours. I'll get the silver ones just to keep it a little more "stock looking" on mine. Don't know if go with the big brakes yet, to make it look right with the added space but I think I will end up going that way. I will even keep the tail pipes after getting the turbo kit on it. Thanks for the pics, looks fantastic. Take care of the yourself and "the black beauty" as well.
