Bent Rim. . Fixable???
Ok. I hit a river rock some time ago and have since replaced tires as the damage was not great enouhg (it seemed) to warrant getting new wheels since $$ is always tight. The wheels I have now are 18" Niche Shock wrapped in Toyo 275/35/18s. Months go by and NOW the tire will not hold air. I took off the wheel to take it in to get checked and upon doing so saw that the dent in the rim looked a bit more worrisome than before. My question. . should I or is it even a possibility to fix the rim and how costly. . .OR. . . purchase what i have been lookin at all day today which is:
Boss(chrome) wheels - Series # 304 18x8 Found em on ebay for $800.00.
My other dilemma or question if you will is that the tire shop has a hell of a time putting on the 275/35s on a 8.5 wheel. So do i need the extra rubber for daily driving?? My thought is if I go ahead and get the new wheels. . .to wrap em in:
Sumitomo HTR ZII 245/40/18s Found em on Tire Rack for $100.00 a piece.
One last question....what do ya think bout this tire/wheel combo look for my ride?

Unfortunately not. But I can tell you that the dent is big enough to vibrate ny steering wheel and at the same time the car has since pulled to the right side. I just went again and looked at it and my thought is that the air leak has got to be coming through at that spot possibly when the car is at speed on the road. I would fill it up with air and it would seem to hold overnight while in the garage showing no signs of ANY leakage. Then as soon as I drive it right up the road it goes flat upon arriving home.

you HAVE to get rid of that wheel and not drive on it.
