    Anyone running All Seasons?

I'm picking up a set of stock T/A 16's for my Formy, and the plan is to put a good set of all seasons on them, since the car is a DD, and to get a set of nice wheels come spring.

I'm going to try not to drive it in snow, but I might end up doing that.

I think I'm going with the stock size, 245/50/16.

Anyone have a recommendation on a good set of tires that will work in snow?
Not Blizzaks, I don't want a pure snow tire, just an A/S with decent snow performace. Preferably under 100 bucks each.

And should I go with 235/60/16's instead?

    Thanks!

I run BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS but I have no experiance with them in the snow. There also not under $100. From my days back in ny a smaller tire is usually better for snow being that it will cut threw the snow to the road giving you better traction vs riding on top of the snow and lossing traction.

    Mike,

stick with the stock tire specs. no need to run a taller and narrower tire...

This would be a good tire for you to look into, as it's also ZR-rated...

Thanks for the link! Those look good, but are a little more than what I want to spend.

I was thinking of going to a narrower tire as generally a wider tire won't do as well on snow, it will try to float on it rather than cut through it. Which is great on Jeep in 3 feet of snow, but not so much on the street.

I was actually thinking of these Contis, they seem to have gotten pretty good reviews. Plus they're only 82 bucks each, which is good for my budget.

I got those potenzas you linked but in a 275x35x18. They are going to suck ass in winter, on wet pavement I can get the back end swinging about easy without even goosing it. As a person who has driven a lot of rear wheel drive cars in snow storms, narrower is better, but as long as it has good tread, and an open patteren to push all the snow out of the way, you will be good.

I have Firestone Indy 500. Top rated for daily driver tires. Great in the snow in Maine. I have been really happy with them. I am not worried about doing high speed runs to care for the speed rating. Its a daily driver to and from work. Got them for 100 bucks at tire rack.

9t8z28, what is the name of the exhaust kit in your avatar. That is the meanest looking exhaust tip set up I have ever seen. Each one must almost be a foot wide.
