I believe the 96 grandsport replica's are one of the more popular (and cheaper) wheel selection out there for the f-bod enthusiasts.

Light Metallic Pewter- 2000 Corvette Coupe
Here's a shot of a great winter project..97-99 wagons painted gloss black and polish or paint the lip. Not hard to do at all, just takes your time............
I've got four here ready for a project http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97834

#1 tip is patience. Pad sander and start with a course enough grit to get the bulk of the paint and primer off (150 or so grit) Then go through a series of maybe 320, 400,600. Wetsand through 1000 and then hand wetsand with 2000. Sounds like a lot more time than it actually is........after the 2000 I use Maas Creme and they oughta gleam at that point. Again, just take your time to do it once and you'll be amazed at your efforts.
