Any pics of 285/35/18 on 18"x10.5"
I searched and searched through all the threads but couldnt find any pics of a 285/35/18 tire on a 18x10.5 wheel (preferably on a ZO6 wheel). Im looking to get this set up but I'm not sure if the tire would look too skinny on the rear wheel. If anyone does have this set up, were any spacers needed or just the BFH mod? Can anyone help?

I have the Z06 rims on my car ( black w/rivits). They came with the car when i bought it. They are 18 x 10.5 and i have 295/35/zr18 on them and looks real good. I brought my car to Thunder Racing for them to weld on my sfc's and they took my spacers off because the lug nuts were barely catching. So you do not need spacers unless you want your tires to stick out some, and if you do i recomend longer studs. I will try to post up some pictures this weekend for you.

I'm running 285s on a 18*10.5 rim. I haven't had any problems that said it does pull back off the rim a little and look kinda funny let me look for some pics...

Thanks for the pic, your car looks sick! from what I can tell It they look fine, maybe from the angle. Do you wish you would have gone with a larger size. I want the 285's because to go any bigger it's a big difference in $$$$$$$

Thanks! I will probably go with a bigger tire when these are worn out.

silver- 2000 camaro ss convrt
?? on 285/35/18 vs. 275/35/18 on 9" Rim
The black and silver camaros look nice. I have a similar question concerning the tire size. I bought a set of 18 x 9 inch rims but have yet to buy the tires. I want as wide a tire on the back as possible but may be limited by the 9 inch width of the rim. BTW, the wheel that I bought, which is the style I want, comes no wider than 9 inches. Anyway, does anyone have an opinion on how a 285/35/18 would look on a 9 inch rim? Should I just stay with the 275/35/18, or does it really even matter? Thanks.
