Any input would mean the world to me!
Like I said in another thread, I bought 17x9.5 c6 z06 wheels. I am going to get 285/40/17 for the rear and 245/40/17 for the front. My friend has me worried because he says he's positive that since the wheels are pretty wide all around that they are going to stick out of the wheel well a lot and look like crap! please tell me he's wrong, and if he is right, how can I fix it. I don't understand because there is a lot of people on here with similar sized rims and I haven't seen any pictures of any body's car on here with that problem. please give me any info or pictures you have, and I greatly appreciate it.Thanks

If the wheels you bought have the normal offset, you should be ok.
The normal offset for the wheel you bought should be +50 to +56 mm.
Can't imagine 285s sticking out to far in the back. I prefer to run
275 40 17s all the way around.
car is stock height.......front tires are 275/40/17 falken ZE-502 on 17x9.5 wheels, rear are bf goodrich drag radials 295/35/18 on 18x10.5 wheels

I don't think they'll stick out. I've never seen a car with C6 wheels that did.

It says on the website that the wheels I bought are 56mm offset.

cool thank you so much! I was just worried because I can't return the wheels after the tires are mounted, and I wouldn't know how they would look until they were mounted which is why I asked you guys! thanks
