Adapters installed now studs hitting wheels?

I just installed 1" adapters and it seems that back of the wheels are not mating up to the adapters. I believe the factory studs are hitting the back of the wheels. Has anyone installed adapters and had to cut the tips of the studs off?

I am running new C6 wheels

that usually only happens with spacers that are less than 1". cut off the part of the stud that has no threads and you should be fine. trick here is to put the lugnut on first, cut the stud, then remove the lugnut. this way, if you burr up the threads, you will fix them when you remove the lugnut.
