    actual life of nittos

hey guys, I just sold my rims for 17x11 ZR1s, I'm want to buy 315/35/17 tires that hook the best (with decent tread wear). I've read through lots of posts and see i should get Nittos or BFG gforce kd. Im guessing the nittos hook better.. The nittos are cheaper at 338 for 2, but do you actually get 15k miles out of them? I make 348 rwhp and drive agressively, but hardly go to the track. Any input? thanks

i have 315/35r17 nittos right now. i cant hook up at all on them. my mods are fuddle3600, 373's, LT's, lid, flowmaster. but i do have about 7k on them and they are about half worn. my new tires will be in tomorrow, they are Hoosier D.O.T. Drag Radials. however i dont think they will last long

I run 315/35/17 Nitto DR's for my street wheels. Got 8-9K out of them with 15 passes included in there.

Was able to cut a few 1.86's on them...
Hoping my next set last 12K miles. I think they will if I don't race on them.

It's completely reasonable to expect to get 8 - 10K miles from a set of Nitto DR's. I had mine heat cycled and got every bit of 10K out of them.

Try to avoid doing long, smoking burnouts and that will certainly help as well! HAHA!

HAHA! There is no fun in that. Of course, dumping the clutch a few times on DR's and then going behind the car to pick up the pieces of the 10 bolt isn't a whole lot of fun either! :-)
