I am running 11" wide rims all the way around so in my opinion yes as they are only 0.5" larger than stock rims.

Too small IMO, and most will say the same. If you are getting away from the stock wheel size, I wouldn't get smaller than a 9", thats just me though. I am running 18x10s up front and 18x11s out back. If the 8.5" makes you happy then go for it, there is no technical reason why you shouldn't, just a preference.

They're fine if you only want to stick with a 16" rims. Anything bigger go atleast 9.5".

They will look ok up front, but might look "weak" in the back.

My neighbor has some 255 50 17 he said I can have because he got some 18's and no longer needs them. The contact patch is 10''. So what is the contact patch on your 11s out back? If I do get these, I will only put two on there and get some nitto 40s.

Go on tirerack.com and look up the specs of the tire and the size you are going to use.

The tire manufacture will list the range of acceptable wheel sizes.

Personally I would not go any smaller than 17X9 out back. I have 17x9.5 but already wish I had 17X11's.
