7 and a half hours on the ZR1's
Well after all my wining and complaining about having to clean my polished ZR1's the other day, I decided to spend Monday cleaning them. I started at 8:30 cleaning and finished up at 4PM.
Started off by putting them in the bathtub and cleaning them off with good old dawn dishsoap and water. then hit them with Viniger and water and finished off the basic cleaning with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. That actually helped alot.
After I cleaned them I sat in the kitchen on the floor polishing them with the mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish along with multiple Micro-fibre cloths.
I sealed the deal (Literally) with Mother's Carnuba car wax. They're still not perfect but they're way better than they were.
Sorry had to use my cell phone to take the pics
Enjoy the pics, and tell me what you think.
Before I cleaned them.
After I washed them.
After the MAGIC ERASER
And The Final Outcome
Here's a comparison of a dirty rim and the clean rim

Big diffrence in the zr1's. Looks good but way too much work for me I would buy chrome or powdercoat black. Makes a big diffrence when you polish them keep up the hard work it pays off..

Thanks for the compliments. I woke up this morning with sore knuckles from polishing for so long and my back is killing me from leaning over the rims for so long. But it paid off. Now I just gotta keep em looking like that.

Oh hell yeah. I just hit everything that my tires sat on with some cleaner when I was done. Pretty funny cause it looked lide there were burnout strips through my kitchen where I rolled the tires through to the bathroom.
