You can't tell me that those don't rub in the front when you turn... that has got to be a complete nightmare... i have a '95 w/the zr1 wheels... not sure whether 17x9 or 9.5??? but either way... they scrub when i turn the wheel, and back out of my driveway, i can't stand it

245/40/17 tires are on my original factory alumimum polished speedline rims is what is currently on my 2002 WS6.
the offset wether you have a 17--18 or 19" rim is the most important first step when installing a aftermarket rim, Then of course the tire size is the next important factor.
CCwheel or Fikse wheels can tell you exactly what will work on any original trans am,

not sure if it is stamped on the inside of rim ??
i spoke to Fikse a while back & they told me wether i use a 17--18 or 19" rim -- a 38+ offset is what i would need is a 9--11 " wide custom rim from them,
Cost if the reason i cannot purchase from them

you are most likely correct !!
315/30/18 is the most popular rear tire pn a 10.5--11 "
to get the set from same manufacturer with the same tread design using different sizes is a problem,
sure would like to know if anyone is using the 275/40/18 up front on a 2000--2000 T/A ??
