    275 40 R17, is what in width?

    Hey Im looking to buy a new set of Black Z06 rims for my 01 Camaro Z28..
    I have 275 40 ZR17 98W, I was just wondering what thats converted to inches for the width of the rim??? I looked on websites for rims and most say 9.5, 10, 10.5? What width of rims do i need to fit my tires i have now so they'll fit on my new rims lol..

    2000 Camaro SS

    That size tire came stock on the SS and WS6. Not sure if they are 17x9 or 17x9.5. I am certain that tire size will fit a 9'' to 10'' wheel.

    275/40-17 will fit on rims that range from 17x9 to 17x11. ideal fit is on 17x9.5
