    275-40-17 on a WS6

Hey guys, I'm installing some 17" wheels on my 2000 T/A. Did the WS6 come with 275-40-17's from the factory? A 275 seems to be kind of a wide tire for the front.

275/40/17's are the stock WS.6 size tire.

I run 275's up front now, and a 315 out back.

    Not on mine.

    275's are a stock WS6 tire.
The 315's need a 11" wide wheel though.

Ok, thanks. I'll probably stick with 275's all the way around for now. Thanks for the info. I'll post pics when I get the wheels and tires on.

what tires are you thinkin about?

I have 275's up front on my car.....needless to say....cornering is sweet.

I got a buddy with a talon TSI, and I took him for a ride, and some of the corners made him go "WOAH!!!!"

I found some Fuzion ZRi's on Tire rack .com. I don't really have the money to go all out for Michelin Pilots or any thing like that.

You won't believe this but try some Sumitomo HTRZ 275/40/17" tires from Tire Rack . Very aggressive tread design , killer price , needs no balance weights , 10" wide .

    Cheap ass tires.
Not worth it. Traction is crap, they are hard, and they are what I consider loud.

Once I burn through that set I'll get some good ones. In The last month I've bought wheels, a hood, and new front plastics, and I still have to get it in to paint so I'd rather not go nut's on tires right now.

I'm starting to find my 315s front tires to be narrow... 275 aren't too wide at all for the front.

Yeah, but for $77.00 @ . They ain't that f**kin loud ! Aggresive tread design~over 10" wide~no wheel weights needed/perfect balance~and just as smooth as your average $150.00 tires . Its your money pal .

I'm gonna disagree with you on the perfect balance. You may have got lucky with them, but alot of people have to use weights. I'm running 2.75 ounces on 1 rear wheel and 2 on the other.
