    27" sticky tire

Are there any that will fit a 15x10 wheel??

Looking for something STICKY. Mileage isn't a concern...will only be on the car for drag.

Just getting information right now. Will be looking to buy before next season.
Haven't done any research myself yet, just wondering if anyone has any experience.

    Found an M&H slick...
Not sure if I can run these though...might be too wide. These are the Racemaster series.

11.5 might be a little too much tire.

But I will look into it. Thanks.

do you not want them that wide, or do you think it won't fit?
I run 15x10 prostars as well with the M/T 325/50/15 et street. It says 28in, but on the car I measured just over 27. It's 13 wide and fits just fine. pics in my new thread.

Fitment would be my biggest concern.
    I will check it out.

I still have my bumpstop and didn't BFH, so I woldn't worry about the tire fitting too much. As you probably know, getting the 15x10 to fit was the biggest deal.

    Yeah....lots of grinding.

I need to make sure it is a true 27" tire though. 28" will effectly lower the ratio too much for my liking.

Definitly, I understand that, it has been my main concern. The guy I bought them off of had 4.10s in his t/a and he actually needed them because on the juice he was running out of 4th in the 1/4.

With your 4.10s and the math with these tires it is the equivalent of you running a 3.85 gear. It's taller than I want for that reason, I have 3.23s, I can't afford to lose the gearing like I am but it was a deal I coupldn't pass up. I paid $740 for the whole set of wheels and tires, they are 2 months old and have 0 track passes on them, with about 100 street miles. I got spacers and lugs, with a BFH thrown in just in case He hooked me up

If I run at sea level, I would also run out of gear on a 26" tire.

27" tire will take me to about 131MPH, which would probably be about right.
28" tire will take me to about 136MPH, which might be a little too high. At least in the search for the right set-up.

325/50/15 is 27.7" according to my math. Top in 4th would be 135MPH. Still a little high, but close.

Anyone know how well those Hoosiers handle the shock of the M6?? Still hook really well??

And what is the rough price on them?

Honestly I think I will go QTP when these are gone. Your math of 27.7 sounds like it should be about right considering I measured on the car, which math doesn't take into account. I don't want tires this big, but I also forgot how high you are and that you won't be running out of gear, I should have considered that before saying anything abotu the 28"

I don't know what you shift at but an example of how much height is lost once mounted on the car, this tire got the M6 I bought them off of to 126-127 shifting at 6600ish with 4.10s

Then that is the max of the car I would think.
27" tire spinning to my redline of 6700 should be just over 130MPH.

When racing at my altitude, 26" tire is more than enough as I don't see 124MPH in the 1/4 here. But I would at sea level. So I need a compromise.
    27".

They hook. There just like the MT ET Streets. There a drag slick with just two ribs down the center of tire. They run around $170ish a tire. They also have a 27x10.5 for a few bucks less, but I would go for the 11.5's, they will fit no problem. And they are a true 27" tall tire.

I was cutting consistent 1.6's and a few 1.5X sixty foots with them when I had my M6. They hook good and are more stable than the bias ply MT ET Streets!
