    245/45/17 on 9.5 inch wheel?????

    anyone do this?? is the tire to small to fit properly?? i got some free tires so im gonna throw them on the front...keep 275s out back obviously.....worried about crub rash and what not on my wheel though with tires that small.....anyone have pics of this size tire on a 9 or 9.5 wheel????? ty

    personally i wouldnt run them. 30mm less tread width (275mm-245mm) is roughly 1" less tread on each wheel and curb rash is exactly what i would be worried about, IMO

    2002 Z/28 VERT.

    I had some 245/45/17's mounted on 17x9 rims & it looked bad as the rim was way too wide for that size tire. For a 245/45/17 you need a 8" rim or an 8.5 might work.
