18" DR a good idea?
Do you guys see a problem with me running the c6 z06s in 18's and getting the BFG Drag Radial for them? I don't see a problem at all, but apparently it might look stupid and just a bad idea overall. I don't see a problem with it at all. I plan on pushing 400RWHP. Stall, Cam, lots of bolt ons. 3.42 thru an A4.

No problem; the purists will tell you that you're taking two directions, DRs for speed, heavy 18s for looks... I say go for it. I just don't like how 18s require low profile tires (or a tall tire like mine). I'm going back down to 17s with mickeys.

Hey thx for the reply. I've seen one set of 17" c6 z06s and they looked ok, but I knew it needed 18's. Just didn't quite fit the wheel well. My buddy was trying to tell me that each rim is gonna weigh 5 more lbs. blah blah blah. I was like i'll just remove the rear seat then, problem solved. He's like well it'll take more power to turn the wheels blah blah blah. I really don't think 17's to 18's will make a crap load of difference, but I got two people telling me it's a horrible idea. If it's less the 5hp then who cares...it should look good.
