You won't see them from what I have seen they look to be popular over in Europe.

this is true. I had 17x11s zR1s on my 97 TA with no modification to the lip or the wheel well. also I have 17x10.5 wheels on my 99 ss right now with wide tires (I can't remember the width right now) and the car is lowered with no rubbing issues

so you just cut the bump stops out, rolled the fenders, and they fit on the same set up you ran the 315's on?

Cut the bumpstops and ground the rest off off, hammered the hell out of my wheel wells
Never got around to rolling the lips but my suspension on that car was so stiff i never bottomed out. I would suggest you have them rolled though.

I would highly suggest some adjustable LCAs and an adjustable panhard bar. I had to get every inch of space i could for those things to fit right.
I actually put the stock suspension back on it today since the insurance company is coming to check the car out tomorrow and it rubs on the control arms.

And if you really want 335s i would suggest 17s not 18s, 18s cost a fortune.

the fellow with the fastest times at the drags [ranger] 2006 zo6 ,high ten seonds.. he runs the old zr-1- 17 inch wheels ,with bfg 315-40-17 drag radials... no one has beat him yet ,pure stock !!!! they are 25.2 high .. stock tires are 26.7 on 18x12 wheels.. a little shorter helps thase cars, very easy to heat/smoke clutch ,,if dont get it out quickly... rkvette

okay... yeah I would definitely stay with 17's. When I get back to where my car is at I'll post some pics with the 315's. It's on stock speedline rims, but they have been widdened.

with the spacer I am running yes. I unfortunately had to have the axles pulled and put longer studs in the car to accommodate the larger wheel spacer I have. Like I said I'll post pics tonight when I am home.

Some people are against running a spacer, but I don't see what the big deal is since the studs are from ARP and are meant for drag cars, while the spacer is a one piece ring that slides on and is made from 6061 Aluminum.

I'm not a fan of spacers, but if you have longer studs to handle it i don't see a problem.
