    17" or 18" Z06 Rims on 98 WS6?

I am about to buy a set of Z06 rims for my WS6 and I am debating whether to get 17" or 18" ones.

If i keep the 17" ones I can just swap the tires from my stock WS6 wheels right? Also, the speedo won't need to be calibrated?

If I go with 18" ones, won't the speedo need calibration? and I will need new tires for sure.

Also, If anyone has pics of 17" Z06 rims and 18" Z06 rims on a WS6 could you post em up please.

    Thanks guys

if you stay 17", yes you can just swap your tires over and be done with it.

if you go 18" then new tires are in order. if you go with the 275/35-18 tire, it will not affect your speedo any at all. reason is it is the same overall diameter of 25.7" tall.

you can go to any size wheel you want without affecting the speedo, so long as the overall diameter is the same.

    245/50-16 = 25.7"
    245/45-17 = 25.7"
    275/40-17 = 25.7"
    315/35-17 = 25.7"
    245/40-18 = 25.7"
    275/35-18 = 25.6"
    245/35-19 = 25.7"
    285/30-19 = 25.7"
    295/25-20 = 25.7"

what you do is shorten the sidewall of the tire to accomodate the larger diameter wheel. all will be same height, just in different widths.

On a 17" and/or 18" wheel for the tire sizes you've listed, what offset should I get? Also, what would be the best wheel width? My car's not lowered (stock T/A) and I don't want any hassles with tire rubbing. I also don't want the tires to stick out of the wheel well and look odd; I want to maintain the stock look. I like ViperSniper's idea about getting the wider tires in the back. Thanks.
