Question 1/2 inch stud bore? anybody done it?

I am purchasing some Jongbloed rims from a local guy at the end of the month. The problem I am having is the fact that these rims have 1/2" stud holes instead of our 7/16"(?) stud. Has anybody drilled/pressed out the stud holes to a larger size? If so, what exactly should I encounter? I understand that I will have to pull the spindle off, and assumably the rear axle as well so that I can get them on a press. Or should i just eyeball it w/ a degree-level and a drill?

And just for the looky-looers, here is a link to the ended ebay auction that has pics of them. What do you think on a 99 Trans Am ?

I am sorry but they look like over sized ricer wheels. looks like something I would see on a honda only bigger.

Get them polished and they won't be bad. Sounds like not a bad price for some good racing wheels.
