    01 t/a tire help???

Im currently looking into purchasing a new set of tires for my 2001 trans am. I currently am running 275/40/17's with the y2k corvette rims. I was wondering whats the limitations on putting larger tires on the rear? And wat are some good brands to look at? Any comments welcome.

Some members are running 335 series tires on the rear and are running either Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar, Nitto, or Michelin. Nittos run narrow, so you might be able to run a 345 series rear tire. HOWEVER, you will need to hammer your inner fenderwells and remove your rear bumpstops for added clearance.
