Also according to zainos website you can only apply one coat of a Zaino a day if not usind ZFX accelerator. If you use the ZFX you can apply up to three coats a day. Since your car is black i would recommend Two coats of Z5 topped with Z2. Dont forget to use Z6 in between.

1st - wash the car with Dawn.

2nd - clay bar the entire car using 1/2 capful of zaino car wash mixed in 16oz bottle with water as lubricant.

3rd - If you have any oxidation issues use Z AIO. About 1/2 ounce will do the entire car.

4th - mix 2 ounces of Z2 or Z5(if you have any swirls) with 4 to 6 drops of ZFX.

    5th - apply coat of Z6.

6th - Apply 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of Z2/Z5 to do the entire car. Let dry and buff.

7th - Apply coat of Z6 in between each coat of Z2/Z5.

8th - 2 to 3 more coats of Z2/Z5 making sure that you finish with Z2.

9th - Finish with a coat of Grand Finale.

This process should take about 2 to 3 hours. You will not be dissapointed.

    Good luck and post pics.
You must really move or I am very slow. It seemed like it took me all day but it was well worth it. One other thing to note if you want the best results you also need good quality towels.

Without a doubt. All the detailed info is on the Zaino website. USA made 100% cotton towels will help tremendously. Good luck in finding them.

The Goat looks good. Yeah, it's a lot of work initially, but, if you are like me, mine is not a daily driver and stays in the garage. I usually put 30 to 40 miles on it a week and under these conditions you can expect the Zaino to last for months with routine maintenance; washing, Z6, etc.

We have our pre G12 detail day tomorrow in Pensocala. We plan to begin with the Dawn wash and claybar then take it all the way to the other end. This will be the 1st time in over a year that I have done this to my car other than the routine cleaning maintenance.

Not right now I don't. Seems you have to keep putting "layers" of this stuff on over time....Zymol is one and done....I'll do another 2 coats ( bought the Zaino may as well use it) and then I'll tell you

How many coats do you have on? I put 6 coats on mine and it looks great.
