Look closely and you will see Firehawk heat extractors on the sides on the hood. Other than that it looks completely stock.

not really. . . there was a few raised areas that i knocked down. And theres kind of a line across the back, but i didnt even mess with that cuz i knew it would be that noticeable

I have a WS9 hood also. Excellent quality....i've only seen one other aftermarket ram air hood (not even cut out...looked horrible, not sure of brand). Rogers WS9 U.S. Exotics hood is unbelievable quality. I was impressed at how neatly everything was cut, and looked factory. Hood is really light, yet feel really strong. Mine didn't have any cosmetic problems, also in the event Roger didn't inform you guys. You should do one of the following before paint.

#1 – Bake in bake-booth or curing lamps at approximately 150 degrees for 45 minutes
#2 – Place on vehicle and let “cure” from engine heat & sun for a minimum of a week

That way any fiberglass lines that will come through, will do so now instead of later when it gets painted and will then show.

Anyways I love it, mix of both ws6 ram air hood and firehawk heat extractors. Pretty sweet

IMO the Mecham hood is the best and by far the most agressive looking hood out there IMO. The fit/finish leaves some to be desired but if you do bodywork like myself thats not a problem. If your not a body man or dont know any good ones then buy a different hood. I have about eight hours of work into my hood to get the fit/finish as it is in the pictures.

Structurally the new revised hoods are very structurally strong also.

Its not for everyone but more like it than dislike it when they see it in person.

I agree. It looks a lot better in person than pictures. Saw one on a black T/A and I must say it looked stunning!

Makes no sense but whatever. This is the only part of the car you'd ever see.

I always loved the firehawk extractors. I wish they came on the standard ws-6 hood.

    Nice Ride!
