You get them off of Ebay. Just search US Exotics WS9 Ram Air Hood. The prices vary from $500-$800. I got mine at the lowest price every at $395, but it looks like they've been selling too low and the auctions now have $700 Buy It Now/Best Offer bidding.

Are the scoops on the sides functional?

They do work. Here is a direct quote from the Roger at US Exotics:

"As far as the heat extractors go, the corresponding ports on the underside of the hood are offset. Instead of being located directly underneath the ports on the top, their located above the exhaust manifolds. This ensures that the heat is coming from the hottest area of the engine compartment. Also, it keeps moisture from draining on any electronics. I basically used the exact same set-up as used on the factory Firehawk hoods which made the best sense. If you just look a little closer, you'll see the large ports cut out towards the center of the underside of your hood... that's where the hot air is pulled from"

is it a VFN or a U.S. Exotics. Roger from USE makes great hoods, I have had his WS9 outlaw and now the Superhawk and love both of them

Exactly! I think it looks just like a factory WS6 hood (except for the heat extractors of course).

Just curious, what's the difference between the WS6 and WS9 hood? Is it the cowl, or?
