Wings West front Lip Install

A few years ago I had the wings west front lip on my old trans am. I live out in arizona. Eventually the lip fell off from the heat after a few years. My question is, has this happend to other people? this front lip is heavy. Is there a tape that will hold up to abuse of both winters and summers and not fail? Or have people bolted this lip to the front bumper without putting holes into the front. How have you guys gotten around this problem?

I have reinstalled the wings west front lip twice on my firebird and as of right now it is layin in the back of the barn off again. . . .My problem was large puddles would rip it off. . . . i agree there has to be a better way to fasten it other than the two sided stick tape and the few screws at the wheel wells. The only solution i thought of was recessed bolts/nuts at the front of the lip fastening it to the bumper cover, then fiberglassing over the heads. . .??? . . .

Those things are almost as shitty as the Stock GTO front Clip. I sold mine a long time ago

mine has a small gap in places but i used screws across the whole thing!!! if i ever remove it my bumper will look like swiss cheese!! LOL!!
