Where can I find a Mesh Screen....

for a cowl hood? I just had a Stingray hood installed and had the front of the cowl cut open to help get more air into the engine bay for better underhood temps. but it is a sizable opening and i don't want a lot of crap flying in to the engine bay. i went to Advance, Autozone, and O'Rielly's and none of them could help. the jerks at Autozone were the least helpful, is being a moron a requirement to work there? the dude's there acted like helping helping a customer is to much of a pain in the ass for them.

I took the screens out of my Ws6 Hood and think it looks a lot better (read: cleaner). Just leave it out, you have an Intake Filter for a reason

From reading your post I would say you left our store less than a satified customer. I would first like to apologize for the customer service or lack of you received. I would like for you to contact me, as I would like to know the location of the store and what employee you delt with. I do know what you were looking for as far as the grill mesh (universal cut-to fit) we do carry such an item in some of our stores. Please contact me via e-mail at scott.koch@autozone.com

Impressive. Who'd thought auto zone would have that kind of customer service.
