Unscratched my Tailshades
I had a little mishap a few months ago...when I was washing Nymphadora, I had taken the tail shades off so I could wash them separately and placed them in the grass in my front yard. Well, the wind came along and pick them up and proceeded to drag hem down the sidewalk on the outside part (of course ).
So, I decided to try and make them look better. At first I was wary to try this myself because I've never been good at body work/painting, but then I figured I really couldn't mess them up anymore than they already were
The damage:
After sanding the scratches out with 2000 grit sandpaper:
First coat of Clear:
After wet sanding (2000 grit) the first clear coat and applying the second coat of clear:
Dried and on the car:
What do you guys think? I think it will look better in rea sunshire, rather than the cloud cover/rain we have right now...
