true ws6 hood or fake

How can someone tell the difference between a true ws6 hood and an aftermarket one? Is there any markings on a ws6 hood that I should look for? Thanks

some aftermarket hoods will have a rough underside. also their grills in the nostrils have a "chicken wire" look. also the body lines tend to be harder and not soft and flowing, do you have a pic for eval?

I can take a couple of pics but I got one from ebay and it just looks a little rough. Maybe it was repaired in some spots and the guy "forgot" to mention it in the auction. The lines are pretty smooth everywhere else, didn't know if they came with a badge, that cloth stuff or any kind of markings.

my car is on top its a t/a with an aftermaket ws6 hood notice around the nostal part there is no lip compared to the real ws6 hood in the picture below mine + my hood came with no holes cut out or grills in it i cut the holes and put the grills in myself other than that they are identical

the one I have has a metal plate where the cutout is. air would go through to the other end, but has to go around the plate. is this normal? I thought they were a straight shot into the airbox.
