More money than its worth IMO-to get it done right. Are you talking about the leather the plastic or both? Either way its alot of green you could be spending elsewhere on the car. I bought a car with tan interior years ago and didnt like it at first-it grew on me and I actually like tan now especially with a red exterior.

Yea i thought so lol, but i was also thinking that if i found a wrecked car that someone was parting out i could find some cheep parts here and there. Then i would just sell my interior and get most of my money back. I would like the change everything but i dought i will anytime soon, if i do at all.

Now if you find a wrecked car and do it that way it will be cheaper but it will be alot of work.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i got a quote for nearly $75/3 square feet to strip the dye and change it to black. So figure
4 seats x 75ea
1 floor carpet x 75
I don't know if you could even do the dash/interior trim since they are molded plastic? You might have to get the leather-cover kitLast edited by third_shift|studios; 12-19-2007 at 05:46 AM.

don't always bet on making your money back on your old stuff. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. Im not saying don't do it....just don't depend on it.

I have no idea on cost. But oddly enough, just two days ago I was thinking redoing my entire interior. Except that I might go buy the vinyl (it is $15 a yard) and do all the work myself. I have recovered a few things in my previous vehicle because the vinyl was falling apart and it wasn't too difficult. I was thinkg about just doing a few pieces at a time as to not have such a huge hit in my wallet. Haven't quite decided on a color scheme though.
