    Trans Am emblem

Couldn't find a thread but, I'm sure someone has already asked the question before.

What do you all think about removing the 'Trans Am' emblem from the doors altogether?

I've already removed the trim and I've seen other T/As with the emblem removed and I think they look pretty good without.

    Thoughts?

Here is mine with the two tone look. I wanna remove it to see what it looks like but, if I do that, can't put them back on and expect them to look right or stick good.

I plan on removing the raised part and putting the decal directly to the door...will make waxing a lot easier

Don't wax over the decal or you will see a lot of wax build up around the edges. I had my son go over all the decals on my car once with his fingernails since I bite mine........lol.

Are you happier with them off or do you wish for them to be back on sometimes?

if you want to get an idea what your car will look like with them gone take a pic from the side, print it out on plane paper, and use a marker to coler it out. this works for new paint jobs to.

i've decided i'm going to remove/repaint my T/A lettering like that. I love the look and think it will really compliment the Phoenix.

Probably the same way I removed the trim. 40lb fishing line tied to two sticks. Drag her down between the emblem and the door surface.

Goo gone or bumper sticker remover and wash it.
