darker the better... my SS has the 35%, and it kind of sucks compared to my traiblazer, which has the 20% (which is illegal in indiana as well i believe). probably jinxing myself, but ive never heard of anybody i know personally getting a ticket for tint. the 20% is just about right, doesnt make it hard to see out the windows at night and actually provides some privacy. plus it will look f-ing sweet on your blacked-out ride...

Ive got 20% on the sides and the hatch of my ceta. At first i thought it was too light, but after awhile it grew on me and im glad i picked it. Im going to take it back though to get the winshield done in 20%, and possibly the t-tops. (this is miami, nobody cares)
However, on my other car im going to go a little darker just for sh!ts and grins. I was thinking 5% but ive also been contemplating 15, and those pics Brad posted are looking pretty good.

I live in bama, and have 20% on mine at one time. Got a ticket for it and had to rip it off. I think 35% is going back on it, probably this weekend.

I've got 5% on sides and back, 40% here in florida is legal. It's hard to drive at night with the windows up or check to see if a cop is behind me. lol

Got 5% on mine. You do have to get used to it to drive at night. It is easy to pull out in front of someone. Also hard as hell to back up with out letting the windows down. Sucks a$$ in the rain.
I think legal is 40% on the side windows here in AR. But I've always rolled my windows down when I got pulled over and never had a prob.

i can almost hear the comments after you read this, but i have to do it. the reason some [most] states limit how dark you can make your windows is cuz the darker they are the harder it is to see out. but you already know that from some of your comments. just take an extra minute to make sure there arent any motorcycles that you cant see before pulling out, changing lanes etc. the biker has no air bags.

no matter how dark ya go it's still gonna suck at night.... i have 5%.... besides... that's why the "%" key and the "5" key are the same one... go for the gusto....

I had 8% on my car b4 my Camaro and if I had it to do over again I think I would go with 8% on the Camaro instead of 5%.
What ever you chose to go with, if you have the t-tops done make sure the guy knows what he is doing. They are so curved at the edges it is hard to do it right. (get the heat gun out)

I love the dark tint makes our cars look real good, but i live in Chicago and the CPD will eat that up all day long!!! If you want to try and not get caught....go for it!!!
