    Thinking of painting calipers

I'm thinking of going polished for the caliper and black for the bracket, but was wondering if anyone had done theirs in blue to match the car. The other idea is old school red and black, but I'm not sure how it would look on the color of blue my car is. Any idea's or pics would be awsome! Or possibly a photoshop.

Red or black to me is the only color that is a clean look imo. Blue would look good with red. I have done red on both the TA, Tbss, and my blue Audi. I had a white car and I went with black on that one. Hopefully the pics help, not a blue TA but you can get an idea maybe...

Thanks for the pics! I thought red calipers would look a bit off with the blue, but that really doesn't look bad at all.

Can you get another image back a bit, to see car and caliper please? Went to get some red and black paint earlier, but all the gloss was sold out. I'm taking that as a sign to keep looking more.

I think red looks good on NBM cars. If I ever get around to it, that's what color I'm doing mine.

another vote for the red calipers. They stand out the best without looking overdone.

Red goes well with blue, in my opinion. If you were to polish the calipers, make sure you use a wire wheel/drill and clean the surface REAL good. That way, once you clear the calipers, that bright metal will show over and over again.

If I use rustoleum will I need to clear coat over the top? The weathers almost nice enough to start on this project now.

Any paint you use, put some clear over it. Even if you polish the calipers, use clear. The clear will seal the water/contaminants out so the calipers won't rust.

I've got one polished so far, might just leave them like this, rather then painting them.
