T-top help... Fotos needed...
Ok can anyone post pics of the top of they'er car with the t-tops off? Also would be a plus with the weather stripping pulled off around the edges as well ! Just need for compairing, need to make sure I did my conversion properly. Thank you for your time.
Some pics of my conversion.
One thing I learned after doing the conversion. Cover the whole damn car inside and out!!! One thing nobody said on they'er converions !! The hot metal singed my seat covers and embedded little peices of metal in my paint (can't be seen in the pics, but up close... very noticable). I didn't see them till they rusted . I did wash the car after finishing it, but since they were "in the paint", washing it did nothing. So my next step is to have the whole car repainted. It needed it anyway, but now it's a must. I also need the weather stripping on the front window redone. Had I known it just pulled off soo easily, I would have left the metal strips on there and taken more precautions to keep it from coming off. But it's replacable thankfully, it just takes money.
Some pics of the "left overs" .

When I get home tonight I will try to take pics of the pics from my conversion and post them for you, I didn't use a dig cam when I did the conversion. What were you cutting with to get such hot metal shavings? the dullest sawzall blade ever? lol. It looks pretty good from the pics you posted, after mine no one believed it wasn't factory.

Sweet.. you should keep the old metal from the top and fasion a one piece cover for the tops out of that as well. My Vette has both glass and fiberglass tops.. its great for the summer time when you dont want the heat beating in
